Hercules Watch Co use the latest DLC coating technology for their watches. This is a molecular coating with very high durability, originally developed for military purposes but now used on our watches.

Thanks to its composition, our DLC forges a real armour capable of withstanding scratches and shocks up to 7-8 times harder than steel and 10-12 times harder than gold.

In comparison, coatings such as PVD are much less resilient and certainly less durable. Our DLC coatings are totally reversible and do not release any residue.
